David G. Eller

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

 

            David Eller is a graduate of Texas A&M University, the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program, the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, and the Stanford Business School Corporate Governance Program.  He also served eight years as officer on active duty and reserves for the United States Army, Corps of Engineers.  He served as a Commanding Officer, 541st Combat Engineer Company, 11th Engineer Group, 7th Army, Corps of Engineers – Schwetzingen, Germany.   Mr. Eller has a career in senior management which spans 35 years.  His positions during this time include President of DuPont Pharmaceuticals Company – Europe, Strategic Advisor to the Chief Operating Officer of the E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (“The DuPont Company”); Chief Executive Officer and President of Virbac Corporation; and Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Granada Biosciences, Inc.  In addition to many positions in his senior management career, he served two terms as Chairman of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System, while concurrently serving as Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System for a short period.  During his tenure at Texas A&M University, Mr. Eller established the Institute of Biosciences and Technology, which is located in the Texas Medical Center.  He also established a number of additional bioscience programs which included establishing procedures for intellectual property commercialization.

 

            Mr. Eller has received a number of prestigious awards and honors including the Medallion of Entrepreneurship, Beta Gamma Sigma National Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and the Enterprise Award for his work in the biotechnology and life science fields.  He also received the Paul Harris Award from Rotary International and was the first person in the history of Texas A&M University to receive the title of Chairman Emeritus of the Texas A&M University System.  In his honor, the David G. Eller Oceanography and Meteorology Building at Texas A&M University was named after him.  Mr. Eller is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Celltex Therapeutics Corporation.

 

Stanley C. Jones, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jones is a nationally recognized spine surgeon whose patients have included Texas Governor Rick Perry and Heisman trophy winner, NFL Hall of Famer and Houston Oiler running back, Earl Campbell.  He is a leader in his field and a staunch advocate for the healing properties of adult stem cells.  Dr. Jones received his B.A. from Texas Tech University in Lubbock before earning his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.  He continued his medical training by completing an internship at the University of Utah Medical School in Sat Lake City and a residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and was awarded a fellowship to study the lower back at Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Canada.  He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as a Captain.  His hospital affiliations include Memorial Hermann Hospital, Southwest, where he was previously the Director of Spine Care Services, Houston Orthopedic and Spine Hospital and Elite Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery.  Dr. Jones is the Chief Medical Officer for Celltex Therapeutics Corporation.


Madison Mauzé

Vice President Business Development

Mr. Mauzé has over 15 years of experience leading and growing organizations.  His experience includes project management, account management and leadership roles in government organizations, healthcare start-ups, Fortune 500 companies and community organizations.  Before joining Celltex Mr. Mauzé spent several years helping found and grow companies in the human and animal health space. Prior to that, Mr. Mauzé served at Walgreens’s Take Care Clinics as the Regional Vice President of Business Operations, as well as Vice President of Operations for Whole Health Management before its acquisition by Walgreens.  He previously worked in the Office of Technology Commercialization at the Mayo Clinic and worked for Governor Rick Perry. While in the Governor’s office, he worked directly with the Governor and his Chief of Staff on legislative and strategic initiatives.  Additionally, Mr. Mauzé led the development and rollout of the first annual Governor’s fitness initiative.  He received his BA in chemistry with a minor in business from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and his MBA from Harvard Business School with a focus on innovation in healthcare.  Mr. Mauzé is Vice President Business Development for Celltex Therapeutics Corporation.
