VISIT TO W.H. STARK HOUSE, ORANGE, TX

Based upon the book, If the Devil Has a Wife, take a tour of the 1894 era Stark House, Museum, and Gardens on July 25, 2015.

Every family has  story. And every town seems to hold a secret close to heart, one that is quietly understood but seldom mentioned except in whispers or behind closed doors.  If the Devil Has a Wife is the story of the Stark family in Orange, Texas.  Over the years, the truth has been buried in lies or simply replaced by falsehoods repeated often enough to be treated as fact.  What you will read is fact, not fiction, and includes opinions express by family members, friends and total strangers who shared information, firsthand observations and memories that reveal a most amazing plot – even in Texas.

The W.H. Stark House is a Victorian landmark in Orange, Texas, which has been restored to its original splendor.  The W.H Stark house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and designated as Recorded Texas Historic Landmark by the Texas Historical Commission.
