Nora's Home—Serving Transplant Patients and Their Families


Join us for as we learn more about Nora's Home, a hospitality home serving transplant patients and their families in Houston. Our speakers will be Annette Monks, Executive Director and Chandler Bertinot, Outreach and Events Coordinator.

Get ready for a fun table time activity at the August breakfast meeting when we will be decorating and filling Sunflower Sacks for clients at Nora’s Home.  All supplies will be provided.  Just need lots of willing hands!

Annette Monks

Executive Director


Annette Monks is a business and community leader whose career spans more than 35 years in the staffing industry, where she earned a reputation for building high-performing teams, developing talent, and helping organizations achieve their strategic goals. Following a successful career in executive staffing and workforce solutions, Annette chose to apply her leadership and relationship-building expertise to a mission-driven role at Nora's Home, a hospitality home serving transplant patients and their families in Houston.

As Executive Director of Nora's Home, Annette works closely with donors, volunteers, foundations, and community partners to advance the organization's mission and ensure that families facing life-saving transplants have a supportive place to call home. Her passion for service extends throughout the Houston community, where she served as Chair of the Board of Directors for The Health Museum and Chair of the Executive Women's Partnership. Annette is known for her ability to connect people, inspire generosity, and create meaningful impact through both her professional and volunteer leadership.



Chandler Bertinot

Outreach and Events Coordinator

Chandler Bertinot is a marketing and events professional whose passion for helping others aligns well with the mission and purpose of Nora’s Home. As the Outreach and Events Coordinator, Chandler oversees volunteer management, community and hospital outreach, and special events, such as our annual Golf Tournament and Gala. He has been apart of the Nora’s Home team for the past year and above all, has valued the friendships and memories he has made with the Nora’s Home guests. Before moving to Houston, Chandler previously worked on marketing efforts at Winter Park Resort in Winter Park, Colorado, and his alma mater, Louisiana Tech University.

Tam Nguyen (our 2nd quarter recipient) awarded the Star Pin to Russanne Kelley, Chair of Making a Difference Committee. Russanne was recognized for her outstanding contributions to TPG's philanthropic projects. Congratulations to Russanne and her amazing committee!
